The ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) is a leading cancer charity dedicated to raising the awareness of the shortage of black and ethnic minority donors on the UK bone marrow, blood and organ registers and recruits donors to come forward at ACLT registration drives via (saliva or blood) and be involved in the process of offering hope and a healthy future to someone whose disorder may otherwise prove fatal.

“I am honoured to be an ambassador for the ACLT and to also be a life saver, having joined the blood register to regularly give blood. The ACLT’s tireless work to encourage people to take the step to become a bone marrow, blood and organ donor makes a huge difference to saving people’s lives. It really is a no brainer for me; should my support be able to encourage members of the ethnic community to come together and support the ACLT in their aim to increase the UK donor registers, then I’m most definitely in!”
