The coordinating voice for Black, Asian, Mixed Race and Minority Ethnic transplant donation
10’000 Donors

I am a patient in need of a stem cell donor to extend my life beyond a 7-year prognosis since a diagnosis of myeloma was delivered in 2017. My family heritage hails from south east Asia and the UK so finding a match, as for anyone from a minority ethnic background, continues to be a challenging task for me personally.

10000 Donors

To make stem cells as available to us all as aspirin. We run project campaigns, write articles, give presentations and network globally, focussing on educating people about stem cell technology and its life saving applications.

We work alongside the following organisations:

In 2018, we drove a car worth £200 from Chester to Monte Carlo via Switzerland and Italy as part of the Crumball Rally challenge. The car continued back up through Europe to the headquarters of DKMS in Germany where it “raced” around the world famous Nurburgring, before, (somehow) limping back home to Cheshire. This project raised over £40’000 for DKMS and affiliated charities and led to an additional 11’000 new potential stem cell donors signing up to the global register.

In 2019, we released a song into the UK charts (https://youtu.be/IJGg3dEhgEI). It hit the number 1 spot in the Amazon New Music chart and topped 38 in the official UK charts. All profits went to DKMS and ACLT.
