The coordinating voice for Black, Asian, Mixed Race and Minority Ethnic transplant donation

Shae Hutchinson, a 23 year-old strike with Norwich City FC, has highlighted the need for BAME people to become organ donors. Hutchinson, who has Alport Syndrome is currently waiting for a second kidney transplant. His father donated a kidney to him in 2018. His mother, Sarah, also has Alport syndrome and is waiting for an organ donation herself.

Shae and Sarah are working with blood cancer charity ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) to raise awareness and encourage more organ donors to sign up.
